Providing a family-friendly environment is very important to the Studierendenwerk Erlangen-Nürnberg. Students with children receive comprehensive support, from little extras that make it easier to cope with everyday life to the basic requirements such as where can I find childcare? Where can I go for advice? And how much will it cost?

The Studierendenwerk offer accommodation especially for students with children. Thanks to the “Kinderteller” campaign, children of students under the age of ten can eat free of charge in student restaurants and cafeterias, and diaper changing facilities and high chairs are available.

The Family Service works closely with the Studierendenwerk when it comes to offering childcare for students’ children and is regularly invited to attend the Tagescafé for students with children in Nuremberg to answer any questions parents may have.
