Café for students with children

The “Tagescafé” is run jointly by the Studierendenwerk Erlangen-Nürnberg, the FAU Family Service and the Evangelische Hochschule Nürnberg. Based at the childcare center MAXI in Nuremberg, it offers students who are or who are soon to be parents a place to meet others and share their ideas and experiences.

The little guests can have fun exploring a fully equipped play room designed for young children while parents can enjoy coffee and biscuits and chat to others in the same situation about coping with being a student and a parent at the same time. In general, an educational specialist is on hand at the “Tagescafé” to share their knowledge and advice with parents.

Alongside parenting questions, topics specifically related to student life are also addressed during the meetings. At regular intervals, we invite external experts and speakers who provide our guests with useful information and are available to answer their questions.

Mothers and fathers to be are also very welcome!
