The Family Service coordinates and links the wide range of services offered to students, employees and their relatives at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU) and the University Hospital Erlangen. The Family Service is available to provide advice on all matters concerning the compatibility of working or studying and having a family.

During the winter holidays (carnival holidays) 2025 from 03.03.-07.03. the FAU holiday childcare team organises a colourful, varied holiday care programme in Erlangen. All children of FAU and UK members from primary school up to 12 years of age can take part in the winter holidays.
