Erlanger Familienbündnis

Erlanger Familienbündnis

The Erlanger Bündnis für Familien is a lively partnership bringing together a wide range of different stakeholders. Groups and individuals, associations and companies, working groups and representative bodies have all come together with a number of sponsors to pursue their common goal of helping families in Erlangen. The Youth Welfare Office (Jugendamt) in Erlangen provides a managing director for the alliance, who is responsible for coordinating the various activities. The common goal of all partners is to work towards making Erlangen a more family-friendly place to live.

FAU is a long-standing member of the Erlanger Familienbündnis, where it is represented by the Family Service. One of the main focuses of the Erlanger Bündnis für Familien is to continue to improve the compatibility of working and having a family. The Family Service is involved in a wide range of projects together with the other partners in the alliance.
