Erlanger Autumn holidays (Herbstferien)

Dear families,

in the Autumn holidays (Herbstferien) 2025 from Monday, november 03 to friday, november 07 we offer a holiday childcare for schoolchildren.
This page gives you all the information you need to know about FAU holiday childcare during the Autumn holidays.

Who can attend?

Holiday childcare for school children between the ages of 6 and 12.

You can only register using your work e-mail address (e.g. maria.mustermann@fau.de).

Please also note that you require the documents to register for FAU holiday childcare. Please be sure to fill them out and bring them with you on the first day that your child attends the holiday childcare.

Opening hours/costs

During the Pentecost holidays the FAU vacation childcare is open daily from 07:00am to 4:30pm on working days. You can register your child by the week either for
* full-day care for 70 €/week (for childcare between 7:00am and 4:30pm every day) or for
* half-day care for 50 €/week (for childcare between 7:00am and 2pm every day).
For 15 €/week, you can book a warm lunch for your child. On longer excursion days, we please provide your child with an additional snack, as we do not go to the cafeteria on that day.

Prizes vary for users from partner institutions.

Cancellation?

Please let us know as soon as possible if your child is unable to attend the childcare you have booked.

If your child is ill at the time the childcare starts, we will reimburse you your fees if you show us a doctor’s certificate.

Cancellation for any other reason: Fees are reimbursed in full for any cancellation up to 7 days before the holidays start. After that, the fees will only be reimbursed if we can find someone to take your place.
