The Welcome Center of Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg is responsible for supporting international visiting researchers as well as doctoral candidates. To this end, the staff offer a wide range of advisory services covering the formalities and administrative procedures that our international guests need to address when preparing for and carrying out their stay.

As a central point of contact for all questions related to your guest stay, the Welcome Center provides you and your family with personal advice and comprehensive support, particularly on matters such as residence permits, housing search, and childcare.

The Family Service works closely with the Welcome Center, especially in supporting international families.
