Nürnberger Pentecost holidays (Pfingstferien)
Dear families,
we are planning to offer childcare in Nuremberg for school children in the Pentecost holidays (Pfingstferien) 2025 from June 10 to June 20.
This page gives you all the information you need to know about FAU holiday childcare during the Pentecost holidays.

Holiday childcare for school children between the ages of 6 and 12.

Registration period: May 5th to May 12th, 2025
You can only register using your work e-mail address (e.g. maria.mustermann@fau.de).
Please also make sure that you receive our emails during the holiday season!
Please also note that you require the documents to register for FAU holiday childcare. Please be sure to fill them out and bring them with you on the first day that your child attends the holiday childcare.
Opening hours/costs
During the Pentecost holidays, FAU vacation childcare will be open daily from 07:00 am to 4:30 pm on working days.
If you would like to make use of the childcare hours between 7 a.m. and 8 a.m., please indicate this in the registration portal in the comments-section!
Registration is possible on a weekly basis for
- full-day care for 70 €/week (for childcare between 7:00am and 4:30pm every day) or for
- half-day care for 50 €/week (for childcare between 7:00am and 2pm every day).
- For 15 €/ week, you can book a warm lunch for your child. Please organize your child’s breakfast, snacks and drinks yourself and pack them securely in a small rucksack. On longer excursion days, we ask you to give your child an additional snack, as we do not go to the canteen on these days.

Prizes vary for users from partner institutions.
Cancellation
Please let us know as soon as possible if your child is unable to attend the childcare you have booked.
If your child is ill at the time the childcare starts, we will reimburse you your fees if you show us a doctor’s certificate.
Cancellation for any other reason: Fees are reimbursed in full for any cancellation up to 7 days before the holidays start. After that, the fees will only be reimbursed if we can find someone to take your place.
