Welcome Centre

The FAU Welcome Center is responsible for looking after international guest researchers and doctoral candidates. The team offer comprehensive advice on the formalities and bureaucracy our international guests have to cope with when planning and spending time in Germany.

As your central port of call for everything to do with your stay abroad, the Welcome Center is on hand to give personal advice and assistance to you and your family, in particular when it comes to arranging work permits, accommodation and childcare.

The Welcome Center website gives a clear and concise breakdown of services, contact addresses and other useful information.

The Family Service works closely with the Welcome Center, particularly when it comes to caring for international families.
