The Office of Equality and Diversity (Büro für Gender und Diversity) is the central port of call at FAU for everything to do with equal opportunities. To encourage equal opportunities, FAU implements strategies aimed at ensuring compatibility between studying, working and having a family as well as gender mainstreaming and diversity management strategies. These strategies are the areas covered by the Office of Equality and Diversity. The Office also supports the FAU women’s representatives in fulfilling their tasks. The following brochure gives an overview of the various areas of responsibility, central projects and services.

The Family Service works closely together with the Office of Equality and Diversity on topics concerning the balancing of family, studying and work commitments as well as equal opportunities.
