The Office for Gender and Diversity (Büro für Gender und Diversity) is the central unit at FAU dedicated to equal opportunities.

To promote equal opportunities, FAU implements strategies of gender mainstreaming, diversity management, and measures to ensure the compatibility of studies, work, and family life. These strategies are established as core areas of work within the Office for Gender and Diversity.

The Office supports  FAU women’s representatives in carrying out their duties. An overview of the areas of work, key projects, and services can also be found in the following brochure.

The Family Service works closely with the Office for Gender and Diversity on matters relating to the compatibility of family life, studies, and work, as well as equal opportunities.
